whats the 0-60 time of a stock 2001 type r?

 

I think it's 7 seconds flat....

 

6.1 if you are good... (SCC ran that) but anywhere near that is real good... IMO

 

6.1-6.4 depending on driver. 7 is the GSR time to 60, or there abouts.

 

I'll say. I'd love to see if your car can actually run those times. Maybe we should find out?

 

I mean, maybe a trip to the dragstrip is in order one of these weekends.

as far as I remember seeing as the fastest time for the '01R was 6.2 sec in Motor Trend mag., where they were pitting it against a Celica GTS. But I don't think just anyone can drive an R and get the same results. I think it depends alot on the driver's skills, elevation,etc. which plays a part. Cuz, in that same article they got the Celica to 60mph in 6.6 sec. I test drove a '01 Celica GTS before buying my '01 R, and it was very weak compared to the R. There's no way that I can see how the Celica could get a 0-60 time of 6.6sec. Just my opinion

6.7 sec. 0-100 km/h

Mine: 0-100 km/h in 6.3 seconds
