Okay so I just finished removing my A/c & p/s & I looped the lines. I took the car out for a 5min.... drive & the CEL came on, when I went home I jumped the service connector & nothing happened
The steps I took was
1) jump the service connector with a paper clip
2) Put the key in the ignition & turn it on "on"
Nothing happened I have a 1995 honda prelude
Everytime i start the car there is no CEL But when idrive it for a cuople of min.... the CEL comes on
Update: I just tried to jump the service connector with a wire nothing happened

no that doesnt work. i used to have a cell like that. would only come on after a minute or two of driving but never right when the car started. the only way i got the code is when i got hondata it would show you real time error codes.

is there any anything wrong with my service connector?
so There is no way to check the CEL?
Update: I went out for a drive again, this time instead of being 95 degress outside it was 75 degrees, it ran fine, but the temp... was way past the center, i think i need to change my coolant, what do you guys think
- After checking the coolant levels, the resovoir was almost empty, is that whats affecting the engine Temp?
