Lapping day at Pacific Raceways (pics and comments)
On Sunday afternoon I packed up my **** and my gf and I headed down from Vancouver BC to Seattle, WA for a lapping day with http://www.definitivedriving.com. Since it's about a 2 1/2 hour drive we head down the day before and stay in a motel 10 minutes away from the track. We stopped in downtown Seattle for some eats at the Cheesecake Factory, a restaurant us Canadians don't have up here.
This was my first event this year. I would've went sooner but I have been recovering from a broken ankle and leg. Yeah, it sucked
. Anyway, we got up at 6:30am on Monday and headed down the street to the track. Weather was wet in the morning but it dried up by late morning and the track was dry for the afternoon. I had 4 sessions in total throughout the day.
Here is a track map to give you an idea:

Here's my bucket

And Lori's (penpen)

And some other random cars:

Here are some shots of zippy cars

This was my 4th time at Pacific Raceways including my 3 visits last year. I have improved my lap time from 2:11 down to 1:49. Yeah for me. Monday was also the first track day with my new suspension set-up. It held up awesome and I could carry more speed through the corners. I also upgraded to a set of RT615's from the Toyo T1R's I was running last year.
Here are two laps around PR. These are my first two laps around PR this year so I'm a little rusty. It's also a warm up session.

I have two full sessions recorded(20 minutes each). I'll edit down some more and post them up later today. I'll also take some pics of the camera mount I built.
Enjoy the pics. Comments welcome.

I can't heel-toe at all
. My ankle is too tight and doesn't articulate properly.

Nope. He was at an orthodontist convention, coincidentally in Seattle, so he couldn't make it out.

i'm tellin' ya chris, r comps and spec vr brake pads! you're ready for 'em
those should shave 3-4s off your lap times too.
ps: make sure you clean your purdy wheels, so they don't corrode after all that brake dust.
