how do you like it so far? I was thinking about getting the same thing.
Of course how they perform will be a direct result of how I set them up. I plan on starting with -1.75degrees camber on the street and move that to ~-2.25/2.50 degrees for the track. The rears will be set-up similarly for now.
Once I get a good lapping event under my belt I will move things from there once I understand where the cars balance is.
nice setup..how does it compare to the ingalls?
i have front and rear ingalls on mine..love them tho it made my kg/mm springs a little lower since i got it aligned..and it feels alot better in handling..
how much did u pay for them?

These tend to slip when you beat them up at the track. I have them, and to finally get them to stay in place, I used loctite, a hex bit on a 3/8" driver, and scuff up the area that it's bolting into.
They slipped on AdamITR's car too. Taz Harvey also mentioned that they tend to slip.
Religously check these every time you change your wheels. It's a very useful kit, it just needs to be maintained like other parts of the car. Besides, I have yet to see another camber kit that I like.

Thanks for the heads up! This was something I was worrying about with this kit. I'll make sure I secure things down real good. Loctite for sure!

King kit looks to be of different materials (anodized or something as well).
Different bolts? Speaking of which, has anyone tried a washer and bolt instead of a hex nut on the skunk design?

The pictures on King's site aren't up to date. They're modified Skunks.
Re: washer and bolt. I believe King uses a washer and bolt, AND a nut on the bottom side, so it's effectively double nutted. This makes adjustments a lot harder, but on the up side, it shouldn't go anywhere.

I don't think you're going to strip those anytime soon. You'll strip the hex socket before you mangle the threads. The hex bolts are very high quality, it's just that they are small, and so are the washers.
I just put a hex bit on a 3/8" drive and tighten down til it doesn't want to really move anymore. Make sure you use loctite, and just check them regularly.
To make it easier, you should mark the back and front of where each hex bolt sits. This way you can make adjustments easily, like for when you want to seperate that ball joint (easier if it's slid to full positive).

OK.. since I will have new adjustable uppers soon, how do you adjust them (I know how to use the camber guage).
Do you do it with the suspension loaded? Wheels on? For cars that are lowered, it would seem real tough to get to those bolts when the car is on the ground.
Thanks.

These 2nd gen skunks seem to be angled a little differently, and it's not quite as prone to smacking the top. Regardless, you should make sure you're running enough spring rate for whatever height you are running at.

Sorry to bring this back up, but I just recieved my King Uppers and the SKUNK2 bag WASN'T EVEN OPENED. They ARE NOT re-worked Skunks.. they ARE SKUNK! The box was skunk... hardware is the same.. no bolts on the underside, not even any thread protrudes through.
because I hear of the slipping, I took my Dremel and scored the surface where the washers go, and also scored the washers themselves.
Oh well.. but there pics are old, and they now are just Skunk distributers...
