Default Need a lil help...

I'm finally building my D15B and I'm on the lookout for parts...I was needing pistons and rods for the turbo setup...My question is,will this kit I found fit my motor? I know the bore is right (75mm) but it doesnt say anything about the stroke...Any help would be appreciated

Ebay turbo kits = GARBAGE!

IF you are looking at EBAY stuff for turbo, you need to go to forced induction forum and read up on other peoples turbo builds (it's fun and interesting, plus you will learn LOTS).

didn't read the post did you? he was asking about rods and pistons... the ebay link is even to an auction for rods and pistons... the only thing he said about a turbo setup is that he needed rods and pistons for it..

if you swap a D16 crank in, then the rods have to be custom length... otherwise, like I said you'd end up with the pistons sticking out of the block

ask the seller.

isn't the D15B a D15 block, with a Z6 head?

Ah, but I did some research and found this quote on multiple websites... "·D15Z1 and D15B motors have a rod that is the same length as a D16. Other than the rod length, the rest of the bottom end is D15 spec (i.e. rod and crank bearings). D15B has D16 sized rod journals. D15B uses the same p28 rods that the D16z6 does. All other D15s have smaller rod journals." Any other opinions? If this kit will indeed fit, then I need to go ahead and buy it..

Do you really need to have two identical threads?
