Spindle compatibility
Hi while changing the axles on my 1989 crx si I found that one of them is stuck in the spindle permanently. I bought the axle for that side and I need to go to a junkyard for a new spindle. I'm wondering if I can pull the spindle off of any 88-91 civic or if i have to make sure its an si. It would be good to know because it seemed to be slim pickings last time i went to the junkyard near me.

I would try an air hammer on the end of the axle in the spindle before I bought a new spindle. And soak the area where the axle in in the spindle with PB Blaster or something similar.
