will a auto. tranny from a 94 civic work on a 96 civic?

I find it hard to believe it wouldn't

We don't see many auto tranny swap questions here, much less anything about auto tranny's unless it's some noob that want's to make his auto d-series fast

it will bolt up i belive not sure i had them side by side before bu i didnt really care becuase i decided to boost a d16z6 auto and the clutchpacks in the damn trans were wayyy ******* toast

I BELIEVE IT WILL BOLT UP D-SERIES TO D-SERIES...... WHAT I'M NOT SURE ABOUT IS IF THE AXELS WILL BE THE ESAME OR NOT

all 92-00 d-series axles are the same buddy.

Got a better reason as to why they won't bolt up?

i dont know guys, i bought the tranny from the 94 and i am swapping it right now but i noticed i my original tranny i have the shift solinoids up at the top and another set on the bottem. the new one only has the top set. what should i do?
