Default accord type-r head

Can I put accord type-r (euro h22a7) head to my jdm h22a ? does it bolt right up on?

Yes it's the same, only the a better flowed head and camshafts.

Be sure you mill before putting it on the block.

Yes thank you, I knew it would flow better and that stuff, but wasn't sure if it would bolt right on

What headgasket should I use? the h22a7 one or the original '97+ prelude gasket??

i understand getting it checked for straightness and maybe a resurface, but milling an expensive head is not the way to go. If you want to drop the compression, run a thinner gasket. Atleast that way you can return it back to normal.
