the car will not stay on it idles weird at above 1500 rpm it but when i let go of the gas it dies out i think it might be a vacum line but any one else know what it might be besides that i changed my fuel filter and fuel pump thinking it was a fuel problem but it wasnt please reply need some input thanks

a faulty TPS will cause the engine not to idle

 

and a blown headgasket will cause it to run like **** and die when you let off the gas

 

check to see if u have fuel coming from the fuel filter.it happen to me once.. i just replace sparkplugs an spark plugs wires an that did the trick.

 

check your order of spark plug to dizzy happen to me once and my cuz said that i was loosing compresioon but i look and he put the wrong order on ran good after that was fix....

 

most of the time you can just tighten down the iacv on the back of the intake manifold.
