Default Cable tranny to Hydro Tanny... 94 Civic

I have a cable tranny in my 94 civic all stock. looking to put in B16A 92-95 (SiR-II) motor buying from hmotorsonline.com... Will I need the conversion kit for that? They want to charge $400 for it...
Thanks for input

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that year model civics had hydraulic transmissions......
If it does have cable and you want to go hydro then yes you will need the kit
