Default So, is anyone doing or planning any serious B series builds???

All Ive seen lately is OEM piston, OEM replacement piston B series builds. I havent seen any stroker B16 projects or 92/95/98 B series projects for quite a while (other than Tbone's). Is anyone in the process of building a bigger B? Does anyone have plans to do so in the hear future?

I still like the B, its what got me into this sport (my first swap), Id hate to see it dwindle away.

I plan on a 2 liter build, just a 84x89 with long rod and cp piston, sleeved, pnp b16 head, street motor. Nothing too serious...

I've got my bottom end done: 84.5 bore, 95mm crower crank, dart talldeck, eagle long rods, endyn wiseco pistons (~12:1), machined, balanced, and assembled with the erl girdle (dowel pinned) - done by Don F and Jim Justice.

Now I just need to get a head for it..... HRD anyone?

I already have a hytech header and toda itb's + toda C's, but may switch to skunk pro series depending on what Don suggests.

I know it's crazy but I am about to put together a B20Z2 bored to 85mm with Wiseco pistons and eagle rods.

We got a couple B's in the works. One is an 84x95 14.0:1 comp with Skunk Pro 3 Cams and Performer Manifold in a CRX and the other is an 85x89 14.0:1 comp LS/Vtec with Skunk Pro 2's and Performer manifold in our Eg. Both should be done by Fontana. Can't wait. Anybody else?

A very good friend of mine decided to do an all motor build for this summer ( hes all about turbo)so i will be doing alot of work on that and also do most of the driving. Its gonna be a 92x86 with some nice non vtec style camshafts . Hoping to get in the very low 7s here at perris since thats the track we will be at every friday.

Yea I have been planning this build for a while i thought you had commented on it once before. If you had questions on rod and piston combo I would recommend you talk to Brad at Rlz i believe he has some piston that allow you to run stock ls length rods which will give you alot of choices for rods

They are very nice piston but you dont have alot of choices for rods unless you buy crowers that are custom made for endyn or eagle ls rods w/ the 5/16 bolt ( I had stronger rod bolts put in ). Just keep your options open at the least contact brad and see what he has because then you have the option to run Carrilo (sp) A beam which are a lighter rod
