Have you looked into Hy-tech or Rage tri-y headers? there great applications for n/a builds trying to hit 200+whp with good ground clearance.

I have also heard the SMSP makes some pretty quality headers.

x2, forgot to mention that company as well. There all great tri-y headers, a bit pricey but its worth the money imo.

Petty much don't tuck the wheels. Or you can always custom fab a skid plate.

any custom header company can make you something that will tuck up nice against the oilpan. if you have as serious a setup as you say you do, do not skimp on a header.

Not to brag on my set-up but i made 237 on dyno, of course engine built by don-f incase some are wondering.... my issue is that after searching all the threads i came across alot of people complaining about their header being to close to their oil pan!! my drop is only 1.6 rear 1.7 front tein.

Nice WHP, but 1000 is way to much for my budget. when dyno run was done he used a cheapy 2.5 edelbrock header, if i can get something a little better than that would be cool.

why cheap out on a header? if that's what you made on an engine dyno using that header, just imagine what you can make using a custom one off header.

I know what you mean but it took me almost 2 1/2 years to build this set-up due to the fact i have a family to take care of first
Not trying to be cheap on a header, just don't want to spend 1000 bucks, It will probably take me 6 months for a header like that......lol

sorry for the miss spell i ment smsp not spsm lol but yeah newho take a look at my sig i have a motor for sale its perfectly identical to the one in my car and has never been used i mean **** the head isn't even on the block yet but newho if i were you i would save the money somehow and buy an smsp header and if your head has been pnp'd you should call them and they will make you a custom one port matched to your head for better flow but i recommend smsp i've had a hy-tech and trust me smsp is better it gave me 6 more hp and 3 more ft lbs of torque so if i were you i would deff go with an SMSP all the way save the money dont buy something cheap i mean that header you've got on it now will be ok until you can buy you a new one 230 hp **** on drag radials thats a 12.30 et so you cant complain there just wait until you can buy a real header

i would'nt go cheap on a header with the whp you have. you can always go for an RMF standard style header, you will have no clearance issues at all, since the collector is above the oil pan and trust me, your #'s will be pretty impresive...im selling one if your interested

well smsp's are usually around $1300 but i will sell you mine for 1k plus shipping so prob around 1050ish depending on where your located but its florida so shouldn't be no more than $1050 total after shipping and mine is port matched to my head... i payed $1500 for it... i have an import builders stage 2.5 pnp on my head so needless to say my header is a good custom header that will flow the best for you and is already port matched for when your ready to pnp your head... just tell your pnp'er to port match it to the header for best results
