Damaged GSR for sale. GSR motor/trans, Leather, Rs-R, Comptech, etc.
UPDATE:Had a Deadbeat buyer. $2500 in the next few days takes.
For sale is a slighly crashed 1997 Matador Red Pearl Integra GS with a full 1997 GSR swap. Car was previously running perfect until it was involved in a one car accident. Recently Rebuilt B18C1 Motor still starts up fine, no water in the oil pan. No noises. Trans Still shifts perfect.
Damage:
Car was damaged on the driver’s side front, as seen in the pictures. The Hood, Driver side fender, front bumper, and lip are all heavily damaged and will need to be replaced. The piece behind the fender, as well as the piece that goes behind the bumper are also bent, and can be seen in the pics. The Power steering pump works fine, and after the accident the car had power steering when it was pulled over, but all the fluid leaked out, and therefore the power-steering may need repair. Also, the bottle that holds the washer fluid will need to be replaced. The driver’s side front rim was damaged bad. Tire still full of air, but has a bubble and the car should not be driven. This is all the damage I can see, but there may be more in terms of little things.
Insurance company totaled the car because they would not allow the value of the motor to be considered in the basis of the car, so they declared the value of the motor the same as a LS motor, not a GSR motor and Trans.
Also, car has no head unit for the radio, but the factory radio from Acura will be included, but if you need a code you will need to go to a dealer, or use a aftermarket head unit.
The Good:
-Full 1997 GSR swap.
-Motor Fully Rebuilt less then 5,000 Miles ago at Rodgers Speed Shop in Garwood, NJ. Can get receipt from them for proof if needed. Had a performance valve job done at the time as well. Motor has all stock internals.
-Trans had no grinds, and shifts smoothly. New Energy Suspension Bushings on the linkage.
-Car has almost every option: Has P/S, ABS, Cruise, Power locks/windows, sunroof, leather, etc.
-Interior in Very good condition: Full grey leather seats front and back, and 4 black/gray floor mates recently replaced.
-Has 1997 GSR gauge cluster, stock.
- Car has Virgin OBD1 p72 Ecu, all wired up for IAB’s and vtec. Also comes with a OBD2a-OBD1 conversion harness.
- Wheels are chrome TSW 16’, but one is damaged and will need to be replaced as noted above. 85% Rubber left on tires.
- Stock Suspension, except for megen racing strut bars over the engine and trunk.
- Wings West side skirts and rear valence (Urathane), painted Matador Red Pearl.
- 4 Wheel disc brakes.
- Stock 98-01 Taillights. (The ones without the amber corner light)
- All other body panels not listed above are in 9/10 condition.
- Interior Speakers are all replaced with pioneer components in the doors, and 6’ mids in the backseats. Also, the door panels are the GSR panels that have the extra speaker up top for a component system.
-Airbags NOT deployed.
-Car has rear-wiper delete. All Glass Ok.
-Car was a Automatic, so it has all the things you need for a auto-manual conversion, including the $180 hasport conversion mount.
-Motor had 65k miles on it before rebuild.
-Almost new Hondata Heat shield intake manifold gasket
Motor:
-All belts/hoses/gaskets/filers, etc. were replaced at time of the swap, 5000 miles ago. Since then I’ve changed the oil probably 5 times just to be safe with the rebuild. Never had any metal shavings in the oil.
-Mods:
Comptech Icebox and Comptech Short ram intake – chrome.
DC sports Header, 4-2-1, 1-piece design. (good as new, 5000 miles on it.)
Magnaflow High-flow cat.
Rs-R Exmag Catback.
Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump.
This is all the information I can think of, If you have any questions, or are seriously considering buying it and wish to see it, PM me. Car is located in Jersey City, NJ at a shop right now.
Here are some pics, and I’ll add more later today.
make me an offer. All reasonable offers will be considered... Also, you can drive it, but it should be towed b/c of no plates.
I think the title will remain clean, but I'm not sure. I'll keep this updated.

(old pic...obviosly) Car got Very dusty in the shop, but this was how the paint looks, car is very clean, pics don't do it justice.

More pics, nice interior

(miles not accurate on gauge..)

Selling the whole thing. Best I can tell I'd make more money parting it out, but I dont have the time or a place to store it while I part it out. I'm selling the entire car as is.
I was just cleaning it out and taking some more pictures. The power Stering Definity does not work, (all teh fluid is gone, but the unit looks undamaged) but other then that the car runs/starts perfect. You actully can drive it, but it has no headlight, plates, or power stering.

If reported to the insurance company, it now has a salvage title.

I don't know man, looks like a little frame rail bendage to me. Not saying it can't be pulled straight, but it'll be a bit more than sheet metal to fix this one dooooode.

Yeah, the rail behind the fender is bent. It could prolly be fixed, but the car is worth more parted out at this point...
Any other offers?

the impact was obviously high due to the fact that the lower part of the core support is unscaved. all that needs to be replaced is the core support and the upper inner fender sheet metal on the drivers side. the japanese front end requires the japanese core support so that just leaves the inner fender. doooode

Yeah, A JDM front end would be a perfect fit for this car. Aside from the impact its in great shape. So lets keep the offers coming
