98 ITR Stolen Portland OR
I wish I never had to write this...
My ITR was stolen Monday night from my home near Portland, Oregon.
If you happen to come across someone pawning off ITR parts, please help me as much as you can.
Unique and noteworthy that are more identifiable...
Engine S/N B18C55301001
Struts: The struts were reworked by Koni and the rears are externally adjustable on top. (Normally the Koni rears need the springs removed to adjust).
Seats: The seats were heated and I know from experience it's not possible to remove the heating element w/o damaging the foam so they might include the wiring/switches.
Body Issues: The passenger door had a quarter size dent along the bottom feature line near the back edge of the door. The right corner of the front lip had a 1"x3" area where all the paint was rubbed off.
Wheels/Tires: Standard ITR wheels with older Azenis that are wearing pretty thin on the sholders
If you happen across any of this, please call the Clackamas County Sheriff at 503.655.8211 and reference case number 2007-17998.
If you have information and want to contact me, e-mail is nw98typer@hotmail.com

best of luck with the situation dude. When I got my R, the first order of defense was to move away from the Portland area, to Kansas, where nobody cares about cars. LOL.
I don't mean to make a joke of the situation man. I'll keep my ear to the ground, usually when good honda stuff becomes available, I hear about it (even though I moved recently) Hell, maybe I'll get lucky and hear something.

Thanks for the comments. I think we should be allowed to cane car theives. Currently it's still missing.
The car was alarmed and lived in the garage almost all the time. It was outside that night because some home remodeling was taking over the garage. I was thinking about lo-jack which is now available in Portland area, but not soon enough it seems.
Yes the seats were heated, Go TeamButtHeat, it sounds goofy, but it made for some great winter drives with the windows down.
I'll post some pictures when I get some free time and I figure out how to work this stuff.
