dc2 speedo in a cd5 accord
hello my name is mike a newbe i have a question can you fit a dc2 speedo in a 95 accord please let me know i have a dc2 speedo from a 94-01 gsr and the speedo plugs that fit in the back of the speedo please let me know i would really like to did this swap thanks
well i like my green lights!! haha!! but i have done several cluster swaps.. just get the cluster you want and the harness that connects to it. then get the wiring diagram for your car and the car your cluster came from and match up the wires.
the last one i did was a 2001 crv cluster in a 91 civic ex.. worked great and looked awesome!!

I think I remember someone swapping clusters between something like a 94 integra vs a 2000 integra & that didn't work. Wiring harness was re-arranged somewhere in between there. I bet they made similar changes in Accords at certain years. Be specific about the year of the donor car & your car.

You'll want the wiring drawings from both cars. I bet the cluster's pinouts are different. But I bet they both use the old system of having the tach signal come from the ignitor, so maybe this can work. (Newer Accords tach signal comes from the ECU.)
