Quick i need help, hatch wont start

Default Quick i need help, hatch wont start

i have a d15b2 in my civic and the Car wont fire.
we have gone through it is getting spark, fuel and so on.
the problem is if all four plugs are connected the car wont start, but if you pull the
no. 1 wire it will start. and run on 3 cyl. is the cap bad or is it the dist. maybe some thing else

yep, they are, like i said it will run if i only pull the no one cyl, but not if it is connected.

buy a new cap first. to see if that fit the problem.. if not.. borrow someone ef distrub an see if that fix the problem.

cap did not fix it, I wish some one had a dist i could borrow.

I think Ill have to fork over the 200 for the DIst. and pray that fixes it.

has anyone had this problem before.

buy the distributor from auto-zone... if it doesn't fix the problem they'll take it back.. they'll take anything, including electrical components back and return your money..

This is fu@#$% the car would run on three cyl. or not all.

but good news I found the culpret.
after trying to change the cap, and plug wires with no success, i pulled the DIZZY and was going to change the rotor and see if that fixed it. once i had it out of the car i found that the DIZZY was shot...

the shaft had about 1/8 to 1/4 inch of play and wouldnt turn by hand. would turn if you put a wrench on it.

got a free DIZZY from a friend hooked it up with the new cap rotor and wires and she funs better than it has since i have owned it. feels like i got some power back too.....
