I went over to my buddy's house last night (has a riced out 92 2 door black Legend -what a shame) and his bro has a 95 GSR. His bro took me into the garage to show me something he had recently got...he pulled out two fenders with vents in them, modeled after the Z3. All I have to say is...interesting. I saw something similar on a Del Sol one time and wondered what the hell they were. He got them used for a bill and a half and he wanted me to ask you guys if that was a good deal. They are arrow straight but they currently are black so they will need to be painted red to match his car. Thanks.

 

hey its not my style but if he likes them more power to him, i would actually think that would be a sinn to 95 percent of the people on this board to roll with z3 fenders.

i'm not fond of them but 150 is high for a used set since you can get them for about 50-60 a piece new.

when i was looking for OEM fenders i kept an eye on Ebay and there were always ones on there for that price

 

$150 used is mega high, especially considering they aren't the color of this car. $150 would get you a set new these days.

I have had Z3's for a long time, I've only begun to see them around more commonly in the past year and a half...

Most people on HT consider them ricey... but I could give a shmidt, I have 'em, they're considerably lighter than stock, my car's not slow and it breaks neck everywhere I go.

Weight reduction...that's my excuse... I think they look good on my car. I saw them on an orange eclipse the other day tho and they looked sheet eee...

 

To avoid any assumtions one might make (and most people speak w/o knowing) My Z3 fenders fit VERY well considering I did not have them molded. Think about a body kit.. the cars don't come stock with 'em, but people put them on and lots of times, there is nasty gap if they are not molded to the body. But one would only know that if they've actually had it or seen it up close, which I doubt most have.

But, I must disagree, the Z3 fenders do make me faster as they are much lighter than the stockers and any reduction in weight results in more Hp/lb.... so there, I'll take you in the 1/4 mile... I have fibergalss Z3's, I am faster. So for those doubters... don't talk out of your ***. Ricey or not ricey... they make the car lighter and as a result, faster. So would that make them 'not rice' ? Heh Heh... not that I care... I like my car, looks better than most on the street... prolly faster than most too... even the real Z3... heh heh..
