Default is it a CTR trany?

i bought a supposedly CTR trany but a guy said it wasnt cuz he knew the guy. how can i tell if its a CTR?

is it off the vehicle? look where you plug the axles in and you should be able to see right thru it if it still has the LSD. The tranny code should have S4C in it and if its clean you should see "LSD" stamped on the housing

Dont buy things off people you think are sketchy to begin with. For all you know he could have sold you an LS trans with a missing a gear, lol. As above, check the tranny code, and type it out for us here.

well its a friend's brother, so if something doesnt work out he'll give it back, he thinks its a CTR trany, but doesnt know for sure, so ill go look at the trany and yes it is off the car, so i might post pictures for you guys to see
