Default ---turbo or motor---

ok well i was wondering if i should turbo my LS which has 195,xxx on it should i get turbo it or get a full motor swap?

according to your sig your mind is already made up. a turbo will give you more power than an engine swap.

ok well it has 195,xxx miles on it as you may know, but what do i need to change? ex. rods, pistons ..defently new injectors but what else

you should spend some time reading through the forced induction forum. you can find the answers to all your turbo questions there. there's nothing really 'necessary' to change to make the turbo function other than the obvious hardware (turbo, manifold, etc), it just depends on how much power you're looking for and what kind of reliability.

searching would help. there are lots of threads and articles on this topic. all motor=more money for less power than boost which is cheaper and more power yet more strain on ur motor.

LS's are monsters when turbo .. your not gonna wanna do motor work with LS because you wont gain as much power as a vtec motor would because of ur compression ,, your high *** stroke... and because turbo will be cheaper

you should do some reserch man you seem a little miss guided by someone or something ask your self this what do i want from my car?what do i want to spend?and is this your daily driver?if so i would really do a leakdown and compression check on a motor with 200k 5lbs of boostmight kill her but yeah like stated and boosted ls is a beast good luck be smart and dont waste your money
