coolant temp sensor???

under the distributer on a 1987 civc Si theres 2 sensors, the manual didnt tell me which one was the coolant temp sensor does anybody know?? please help the fan wont kick on and thats the DTC its sending out.

The single wire is the sender for your gauge. The one with two pins that has a larger plug is the coolant temp sensor.
