There is no way you could get all that with 800 bucks. Your looking at about twice that and would gain only a couple HP.

Get a good nitrous setup. You will have about 3 hundred bucks left over so you could get a good intake and if its still that important you can get a couple headers... I have no idea where you plan on putting the second one tho.

With that amount of money, depending on how much you cherish that motor, I would use it to rebuild the motor, if your going either n/a or FI, and take baby steps from there. I suggest that you save a bit more for a swap, have you considered a b-series vtec motor?

If I had $800... I would definitely not spend it on my car. I would spend on something more important... but since you said "on your motor..." I guess I can rebuilt then do the basics... I/H/E. It all depends on your goal.. from HP gains to suspension king/*****.

You should take a look at your engine first. How many miles are on it? If theres a lot your money will be better well spent giving the engine a rebuild. If you don't plan on making a lot of power I would suggest pistons/rods. Or if you want to be "cool" you could probably do I/H/E.. maybe need $100-$200 more. Also if you had about $1,000 you could put a VTEC head on there but I wouldn't recommend that if your motor is high mileage.

Let us know how many miles.. if it's high you could either rebuild it.. or go to HMotorsonline.com and buy a new LS longblock for $750 that has on average 25,000 miles Or save 200-300 more and buy a B16 longblock and have a VTEC setup.

Your best option is just to save more money.

Bolt-ons for that amount of money. But like you have already probably heard and seen you will only get minimal gains out of those products.

These seem like the 2 best options to me.

alright i just got back from school so heres what im dealing with: 285 xxx b18a1 motor, i got an extra 92 ls head and intake manifold from the scrap yard that i got for free so far all i did was clean both of them up and sandblasted the intake. I think that and engine rebuild would be an ok idea but since i can get basically a new block for that price i mine as well go ahead with that and save down time in the futrue i have like 7 g's saved up but i need to get the body work done and paint and insurance which is like 5 k for me. i did a compression test and the numbers were all close but i think a bit low around 130 all across. I was thinking of doing the head work but now this nitrous setup is getting my attention. keep those ideas comin please and my budget can be adjusted as long as it isnt like over 2k's

i would just save sum more money for a swap. or you can go the route my friend took, get a cable b16 tranny and a clutch kit (disc, pressure plate, light flywheel) he claims to have hung with dc2 gsr's and lightly moded 99-00 si's. i would like sum feedback on this too if anybody has any cuz i planned on doing it to my car

As of right now..... buy misc belts, hoses, gaskets....or pay for labor. If everything was all good, then I'd probably buy a head package (RM, skunk2, blox, etc).

After you pay to have 1/3 of an inch taken off your head I would go buy another head that is worth a ****. Or are you gonna bore the block .3 over which then you might as well get sleeves.

Then you can have a stock car for a 500.00 lesson. Sell the 2nd header that you bought since you only need 1.

Save your money and go to college or buy an H22.

Buy a B20 block and get a vtec head

Or for free you can use the red search button pick your *** and blow your nose and come up with your own ideas.

First off, you should be drueling at the mouth given the fact that you have a 92 model. OBD1 =

Secondly, I would save my money.

Thirdly, while saving my money, I would learn more and more and more about potential combinations.

Fourthly, I would not get into a hurry and make a decision that will haunt me for the rest of my Honda-Loving career. Examples include wasting money on ineffective modifications.

Lastly, I would be happy with whatever I decided to do, and know that the decision I made was something that I wanted to do, and that it was something that I am proud of.

I hope this helps! Good luck!
