To start it off, ive got a stock 97 base model, manual tranny and 110k on the whole car
I have a feeling its getting to be time for a new clutch. Today i was taking it up from 1st and right as i shifter from 1st to 2nd @ redline, and i released the clutch pedal, it kinda slipped (revs didnt drop for about 1-2 seconds rather than almost instantly and i didnt get any more power) I was just running it at the track 2 weeks ago and it did fine but i tend to run it somewhat hard whenever i can (i cant help it, i love this car lol) so i have a feeling that the clutch is wearing out quick and if its not on its way out already, it will be soon
I used to be into Integras (I had a 98 GSR) so im guessing this clutch stuff is pretty similar. Ive been looking at an exedy stage 1 and need recommendations on a flywheel. Its my dd so i dont wanna screw up my drivability too much so I dont want nor need a super light flywheel.
Any thoughts on the whole thing? is my diagnosis correct? where would u guys recommend buying this stuff? (the sites i used to buy from were pretty much all integra/civic)

wouldnt such a light FW compromise drivability quite a bit? IIRC, a happy medium between performance and drivability is like...11.5lbs? (i think?) Stock is what, 16lbs?
