lol it's not exactly difficult, i think most go from the negative battery terminal to different points on the car, I'm sure some go to a small box then grounded elsewhere, there should be no sparks anywhere

what the hell were you hooking it to?

Are you talking about from the negative battery terminal to the chassis. If thats it the car shouldnt turn off because it shouldnt be turned on in the first place, and sparks shouldnt fly because you should disconnect the positive battery terminal before putting it on.

Just put the kit in the trash and step away from the car.

A ground wire kit does nothing...the only thing that may help you is cleaning/sanding the grounding point on your stock ground wires and replacing them with better quality & larger wire.

You shouldn't have a single spark with the wire kit hooked to the NEGATIVE post and only to ground points on the engine/frame/body/peripherals/etc. You got a rogue connection somewhere or else a wire chafed and is touching something positive (highly unlikely). Most likely you put it to a hot terminal somewhere.

Connect your ground wire kit to the negative battery terminal and then attach it wherever else it says to. I personally wouldn't risk keeping an ebay POS on my car if it started messing it up.
