type R cams hiting valve's??????

Default type R cams hiting valve's??????

I have a 99si coupe with a b18c1 bottom end and a b16 head my friend is getin me typeR cams and im not shur that they will work with my set up with out changing my retainers and valves... if so what cams would work?

as long as you keep your stock redline, they should be fine. ive been running itrs in my si for almost 2 years, and even now on my turbo setup. taken it to 8600 a bunch of times too, but i wouldnt recommend it

yeah what he said. it's still a good idea to upgrade your valvetrain while your in there. just a suggestion.
