BAD ENGINE PROBLEM

Default BAD ENGINE PROBLEM

when i start my engine it up to 6 on the rpm with out me pressing the gas its running a high rpm and it wont come down the only thing i did to it was on the pgm fuel injector i took off the the net and the flap right below it now i it wont come down i need to know whats wrong with it its a 1988 honda civic lx

i just tested it my brakes suck like a bitch now i put it in reverse the rpm drop but the car just took off then when i put it back in park the rpm shot up so i cut it off its been running for like 5min and its already hot i need help

usually when car manufacturers put things on a motor it is for a reason so whatever it is you took off of your fuel injection PUT IT BACK ON and stop screwing with stuff that isnt going to make a difference unless you are in some fantasy where you think that the more you take off the faster it will go, in that case why dont you just remove the whole intake manifold and see how fast you go good job you are a real car wiz

then i take something off
and now jumping joker bombs batman!! its not working right

OMFG.. are you saying that you took the throttle body flap off your dpfi setup and you cant figure out why it revs to 6k and no where else? news flash, that flap controls the amount of air that is let into your car. without it.. your engine gets all the air it wants.

all i have to say is enjoy your stupidity and do some wicked burnouts until you pop your tires.
