on an opposite note, i have a sedan so there is chrome trim around the black. i want to make it all black.
at first i opted to just mask off the car andthen use flat black rust-proof paint. i did that to one piece of the trim which seemed to be fading and it was too light. so i tried satin black and its too shiny. is matte black inbetween?
i just used rustproof spray paint and its been holding up for a couple months now perfectly.
but IMO painting it white would just make it look rice

door molding right? if it's hard plastic it can be done but like on my 94 accord if its rubber the paint won't stay. the trick is to go to honda and have them remove the pieces for you. I've been told they have a special tool to easily remove them otherwise you have to gut the interior and pop out each clip from the back with pliers. (my back seat is still out after 8 mnths cause I did this.
having them removed though will drastically reduce the price. that way they don't have to take your car in the shop and tape it all up.
also try dealing with only one of the guys and paying him cash. he may be able to do it on the side and charge even less.
I wouldn't pay more than 150 for all 6 moldings.
