type R cams on stock B16 head

Default type R cams on stock B16 head

I got a B20 Vtec with a stock b16 head and there sellng me some type r cams {itr} ive heard that u cant rock cams on a stock head do u really need work????????

ITR/CTR cams will be fine with your stock head bro, if your going stage 2 camshafts then thats when youll have to upgrade vavletrains and retainers.

How can stock cams not be fine with a stock head?

They are a nice upgrade.

itr cams are fine on a stock head AS LONG as you stick to the stock rev limit and the springs are still in good condition
