I open my door and water is lined up evenly with the bottom of my car door! So stupid me tried turnin the car back on probably suckin in more water and so finally I just pushed it outta the way and now its sittin on the side of my house! How is my baby doing?!?! I dont know! But I dont have 2500 for a new engine! Does anyone know if this can b fixed or if my engine is done for?!?!

yeah, You probably hydo locked your motor. If you tear it apart and do it all yourself, it shouldn't be too hard on the pocket book. Pending there isnt a hole in the block.

its more than likely hydrolocked (do a search on here and youll find more info). really the only good news that i have is that all that you really need is a shortblock and those (H22) can be had for around $1200 or less if you look around. sorry to hear.

most probably a bent piston rod, same thing happened to me. Two of my pistons rods were bent. You're going to have to replace those or look for a new block.

Ok....thanks for all the info fellas....but I dont know whats goin on wit the car now....alls I know is that my pops is drivin the car right now and its running pretty dam loud. Has a funny smell to it but I think its the oil. That definately needs to b changed immediately! SOOO......I dont know. Im kinda scared to drive it cuz I dont wanna really expletive it up! But the oil looks like clay mud right now so Ima change that then take it to a Honda Dealer to get it checked out and tuned up! All this happened at the wrong time! My birthday is on Sun, I was JUST about to paint my car SI blue, I was goin to slam it, AND buy the new HALO lights that are being made for my car now! But noooo....damn rain! I hate it! But Im def puttin in the bypass valve in it this time! I have one, just neva put it in cuz it dont really rain too much in TX! Thanks for all the comments fellas!

Why the hell drive it to a honda dealer ship?? Just do it yourself! You'll be doing more damage by bringing it to the shop. They'll also probably try and rob you of your money since you were too foolish to either 1. convert the cold air to a short ram or 2. purchase a bypass!

Pull the plugs out and drain the oil. See if there is any water in there.

See, this is a sign from god that you need to spend your $$$ on a new engine rather than ricing out your car.

I felt bad at first. After hearing this, maybe this will save one Prelude from being riced out.
