You'd want a CX, its the lightest of the hatches. You're more likely at this point in the honda-scene to find a EK hatch for under 3-4 grand and at times you can find them with a swap.

You can easily find a hatch for $1200 in decent shape with some minor rice mods.

yeah ive been noticing that the EK's have dropped in price as well. but honestly i like the way the EG feels alot more i dont know why. the eg was my first car i ever had, then when i went to the EK i missed the EG to much. i havent seen a decent EG for under 2 grand tho. where have you seen tem that cheap?

I suggest purchasing any light weight honda, (i.e. crx hf, civic eg6 cx, etc) I would go with a crx imo if I had to start over again, light weight car with a b-series vtec motor swap, and taking into consideration of balancing the weight and power ratio of the car and motor, then you'll be driving one heck of a monster and be satisfied at the same time.

i would definately consider a shell if i had the space, but living in SF its kinda crowded so i have no space. i honestly dont really like the look of the crx as much as the EG dont get me wrong they are nice but the EG is just a dime piece in my oppinion!
