Default OT: Any of you guys use a GPS?

Hey Guys
Im thinking of investing on one after I played with a friends and was just wondering if you guys have one or have any opinions about them.

I like the ones you can do point to point routes.

I run my laptop with Microsoft Trip and Streets (or whatever it's called) with a USB connected GPS when travelling. I like it so far. Little quirky but it works and has saved me a few times.

Same here..I also use Microsoft Streets and Trips..Very easy to use on a laptop and is portable so you can use it in other cars when going on road trips...Plus with a laptop, you can actually see the map better due to bigger screen.

I have used Delorme Street Atlas on my laptop as well. I have also used a TomTom. I have the Honda OEM Navi system in my wife's Odyssey as well as my TL. If you are used to an OEM Navi system then you will be disappointed using anything else. Just my opinion.

I use a Garmin Nuvi 660 in the S, works ok. Expensive though..

Streets and Trips is what I use normally with the GPS sensor, but it's a pain in the *** in the S2K, fine in the teg though.

Magellan Roadmate 2000 in my wifes Pilot.

It's user friendly and a good value. (got it at black friday sale @ best buy for $199)

My only complaint is, that with so many tolls in my area it's almost impossible to bypass toll roads when you ask it to.

my girlfriend bought me a tomtom910, and its pretty sweet. The points of interest is huge on the thing, and i can go basically wherever i want as long as there are roads to get there. some of the interface is a bit annoying though. You might want to look into the garmin nuvi. go play with them at best buy or circuit city.

I bought a Garmin Street Pilot C330 from CC online for $229 the other day. Love it!! Works great so far. I ALMOST bought the TomTom One w/the Mr T option LMAO.

In my work I deal with a lot of GPSes for our sales people, we used to use Magellans but they kept dying, we had a lot of problems with them. We have since switched to Garmin and they have been much more reliable, plus when I have called Garmin for support (broken mounts etc) they have offered the best customer service of any electronics company Ive ever dealt with.
