DBW in sport compact...or electronic throttle control as the world knew it (think Ferrari and Corvette) CAN be awesome.
In a low to mild powered car like a Civic, I hate it. The only upside is the DBW program can be changed.
In high powered cars, works fine imo only because you've got "extra power" and people will generally trade some throttle response for "more power".
I wish the Si didn't have it, but once you get used to it it's not terribly annoying.
