Well I consistantly see how people are tired of the same repeated questions ....


So... I'll let YOU guys do something about it

Please post a question AND answer that you are tired of reading here

example = what does FA/FG mean.... how do i reset my oil meter etc etc

& I will add them to the FAQ above.

A: Currently eibach, tein.....(**** my mind went blank.)

Q: Whats VSA?

not really a Q&A, but how about suggest wheel sizes and offsets... I've seen god knows how many posts on "will 16's fit my SI?" (I even made one ) and also a ton on "will 18X9 wheels with a +25 offset fit on my EX?"

I know we're supposed to answer these, but I know this is one of your specialties Mike

Well honestly the Wheel section on the forum has TONS of experts the problem with recommending something to someone is the suspension.
If they are running a camber kit or diff susp. setup, my rims might not work for your etc etc

And i dont want to tell anyone to waste 400 on tires

A: chassis codes for the 06+ Civics

FG1 = 2dr. Civic DX, LX, EX
FG2 = 2dr. Civic Si
FA1 = 4dr. Civic DX, LX, EX
FA5 = 4dr. Civic Si


Q: What kind of Engine does my car have?

A: Si = 2.0L DOHC 197hp, 139lb-tq i-VTEC K20z3 11:1 compression
base model = 1.8L SOHC 140hp, 127lb-tq i-VTEC R18a1 10.5:1 compression

A: It all comes down to the look you prefer; they're both the same car. If you need the headroom or the back doors get the sedan. Or if you want to be "JDM".

i have a question. its probly STUPID, so ill ask it here.....

Im pretty sure theres no Ivtec controller right? y or where?
i like my old controller, cause you could time quarter miles ,set v-tec of course and some other features.
if theres no acual I-vtec controller, what unit can i use for timing 1/4 miles and a bunch of other features for my FA5???? hook it up.

look into the APEX'i VAFC-2. i dont know if it can work on the Si's but on the type S, you can set vtec engagement and time quarter miles and all sorts of shizznit.
