B16 swap into 91 honda civic sedan problems

Default B16 swap into 91 honda civic sedan problems

I am installing a b16 into my 91 honda civic sedan and now experiencing problems with the injectors spraying fuel everywheres. not sure what to do?

Take them off and re install them first step.

Check them out when they are off, get a pic or 2.

I hate to asume, but you mean they are spraying gas on the motor itself or leaking or what?

I mean we turned the key and man that gas sprayed straight out of the injectors i was thinking maybe bad rubber seals not sure

That's little unvering, take them out inspect the seals and clean the heck out of that bay.

ok will do thanks man but another thinng is i am having trouble getting left side axle in i mean right one was no problem but is that common

hello, i just swap a b16 into my rex and i get no spark or fuel. i checked all wires for grounds and loose but did not find any. i cheked all fuse in and under th hood of the car. do you have any ideas? thanks

there are like 3 rubber seals per injector, better go ahead and replace them, make sure your fuel rail is bolted down tight.

for the axle, make sure your snap ring is in place, give it some love with a dead blow mallet. when you do this, put the axle nut on the end part way, to protect the threads.

usually when i replace my axles, I push it in by hand until i cant pull it out by hand, then I just install everything back together and tighten my axle nut down by standing on a cheater bar and everything works good and dandy

it could be that the spacer are not on the fuel rail (without the spacers between the fuelrail and the intake, cuses them to leak really bad if you screw it down too much) or the O rings on the injector are bad
