Default CRX Hatch cover

Is there a template for the hatch i could use to make a flat, sheetmetal cover?

my plan is to get sheetmetal and use automotive carpeting over it to cover the hatch area to make it flat.

get what im saying?

has anyone done this before?

i used carboard for the time being. you could always get the newer plastic style off a newer civic, other honda and then trim to fit. and then use the black carpet to cover it. least ghetto idea out there i think.

me n my buddies did this.....we used to spare tire covers from the EF wagons cuz they are made out of metal wit a slight modification they fit the crx and easily hit the hatches. just thougt i would throw it out there.
