Default Rim/Tire size?

I have the chance to snag a set of rims from a friend for dirt cheap. I'm kinda wondering how this is going to fit on my car. Set of 18" (I know, I know) 225/40. He's asking 250 for them and I don't think I wanna pass it up. Only thing I wanna know is if I'm gonna have tire rub. I have Tanabe springs on now. 1.8" drop. Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Well another friend of mine just called about them and he has an EM2...I told him I had posted this question and he would like to know as well. I really didn't plan on keeping them.
