2.5 in exhaust vs 60 mm
What would the back pressure/ performance difference between 2.5 and 60 mm.
2.5 piping manderal bent
magnaflow muffler
22 in resnator
or apexi world sport 60 mm
how much of increase in hp and torque would i pick up going to the 2.5 in route.
82mm b18c1
weisco pistions
11.8-12.0 compression
crower maxi light rods
acl bearings
type r oil pump
b16 head
pnp that i can see my self in the exhaust ports lol
skunk 2 pro 1 cams
valve springs n retainers
flat top valves
skunk 2 im ported 70 mm
70 mm tb
Smsp header
should dyno around 210 whp
how much will the apexi hold me back because the fitment and sounds is alot better than a custom 2.5 in system
Thanks

the other part of this equation is the apexi exhaust has a baffled muffler vs. a straight through with the magnaflow. so how much whp will the baffled muffler hold back as well. if it under 5whp it no big deal
i'm running a 60mm straight tru race system with a small center muffler. Loud like hell but made good numbers for a B18C. I'm looking at going 70mm skunk2 race exhaust and that will be about 2.75" which i hope is going to flow better and a little quieter than my current setup.
Higher the hp the greater the difference.
2.5 tubing has a 12% increase in internal area versus 60mm tubing. THe parts you listed are straight through pieces so they will flow better than a chambered muffler but will be louder.
Here's a test I did with my old car (D16) which had a 60mm B Pipe. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1739065

What about a 2.5" straight through exhaust?
