We have a 2002 Accord EX-V6 4dr. sedan which we purchased new. It came with Michelin Energy MXV4+ tires and after 40k miles need to be replaced.
Are their any recommendations on replacements or are the Michelin's the tire of choice . The best price I have found on Michelin is around 140.00 each plus (Mounting, Balancing, Valve Stems, Disposing of old tires, etc. etc. ).

Any inputs would be appreciated.

yeah i've got a set of those (205-65-R15)

i think about that price too...?

my dad swears by them. says he got 60K out of his last set...

but the guy at the tire shop said that $25 per tire of the price is basically just for the brand name.

he recommended something else that was "the same" but cheaper but i forgot what it was

 

oh yeah, i forgot to say i also have a 6th gen sedan like you

it's a 4-cyl ex but i assume the same rims for all ex's?
