I just installed a jdm dohc zc engine in my 90 si civic hatchback....i have a dc header,intake and exhaust...i want some more power!!! my question is how much nitrous can i push in the zc without blowin it??? Anyone ever done this setup...zc nitorus

 

about a 50 shot on a stock block

 

50 easy. 75 if you adjust timing and change your spark plugs a step or two colder. 100 if your feeling balsy but thats about the limit of basic tuning. The 200hp mark is about the limit on D series motors if you want to keep them for a while and without more involved tuning.

 

50 is your best bet. 75 shot with an adjustable FPR and a fuel pressure guage and back your timing down a bit, but thats still pushing it. 100 would be running lean and probably blow it.

Turbo it. Same gains, only a permanent setup.

 

i wish...i want nitrous just to mess around with once in a while...its my daily driver bro
