Has anyone had any problems with the rear H leaking because those holes aren't filled in? Mine hasn't but I'm wondering if I should cover them from the back with something.

and the lens is a 50mm f1.8

 

nice shots. I've got an older Canon 10d, with the lenses you have + a few others...the 50/1.8 is a real jewel.

now as far as leaking, covering the backside with some silicon RTV/caulk will seal it up.

Better would be to use the same stuff under the logo around the holes before you place the logo. That will keep it away from the unpainted edge of the metal in the hole, totally avoiding any rust.

I used the same lens for my last shoot. I don't want to thread jack so you'll have to find the gallery in my sig... (info>multi>corsport shoot)
