Sell your gsr and buy v8 and add bolt ons, or a FI vehicle (i.e, sti/wrx, eclipse, evo8, mr2, etc), or if you have the money, knowledge and experience, then piece together a custom turbo kit, along with supporting mods for the turbo, a good tune, then you can run with v8's all day.

for high end power i would go with stage 2 cams, higher compression....if your going that route...but turbo is the fastest and cheapest way to get really high end power

Never said lancer, evo8, what does your "boy" have in his civic that smokes them all day? high end race? what your speaking of going like 150+mph racing? not making much sense. Please explain what your friend has that smokes these FI vehicles. Unless your friend has fully built b-series motor or a k-series swap in a light weight civic then maybe.

I think he means ricer fly-bys, that or the sti wasn't racing...

The other vehicles he lists are relatively slow...in non-boosted form.

Same here, my bro has a corvette C6, I spank civics on a daily w/o even trying. And 99% of them have been bolt-ons to built n/a b-series motors. Rarely do I ever come across a boosted civic.

You need nitrous.

The only thing that makes an STi so quick is its ability to launch. When you get one on the freeway they are weak . I walk on them all day long on the freeway but know not to mess with them from a stop....

youll never be able to run with those high end cars with out boost alot of it never on motor unless you gut your car lexan windows compression close to a lambo and a head that revs like a cbr1000 and race gas witch=race car that iam sure your not lookin for cause this is probably your daily driver so just stick to racin v6 stangs and cavaliers

i would love to see a 300 horsepower all motor GSR. besides if hes running that kind of power off the motor he definitely spent a lot of money, a lot more than a turbo or a supercharger, so why dont you ask him what makes him so fast

there no power like a chevy v8. the olny way to even have a chance is to boost. a CORVETTE is one of the most sickest car ever made. stock it rapes almost anything.

I know a stock 4cyl that would rip on a corvette all day long. Its not all about power there are alot of other factors in there too...

i dont know what to say about this thread but there are a bunch of idiots in here that dont know wtf theyre talking about and im not talking about everyone in here

even IF that gsr made 300whp n/a (which it doesnt unless hes spraying) it wouldnt even be streetable...my advice to you is to do a rebuild and than boost...until than you wont be any competition

they might not be highway monsters but they still pull hard enough to get away from most hondas

A stock hyabusa wouldn't just run with a vette it would ride circles around it... not to mention the zx14r will beat any stock car you can throw at it.

you cant compare civic's or integra's to any of those sti's , evo or corvettes those cars are in there own class and cost about 25,000 grand more then a civic or a integra would.. if u really want to stay with those guys u would need to either buy a car worth as much or just turbo ur b18c which is good in a way but if u run to much boost its not reliable as an everyday driver in order to stay with a corvette or even a sti is to run ur gsr at about 8-10 psi thats about 240 wheel tuned were also talking about weight to power too the gsr probably comes in high 2600's and those evo's and sti's come in about 3200 so think what u want those cars are boosted from factory or v8 5.7L vettes ur cars an economy gas saver 1.8 that has a little spice after 5,200 rpm lol
