i was gonna try and just do a custom 2.25" exhaust with a resonator, and have a magnaflow muffler. try and keep it stock as possible looking. anyone have any comments on this? any tips, any sound clips on this?

 

Mangaflow makes a great exhaust, I asume by saying stock as possible looking you mean a full box muffler.

Really if your doing everything as stock and just going bigger piping it's not a tricky install at all.

For a res old school glass packs work wonders, only around a year or 2 but for 20 bucks it's good bang for buck.

On my daily driver i have 3" piping with a single magnaflow bullet, when i'm on it... children cry but very tame when driving normal.

I asume you know magnaflow has that "good rasp" only way I can explain it, it's pretty tame till WOT and still semi refined. On Magnaflows site you can find sound clips on hondas.

I have this exhaust too...very stockish and it's not too loud @ all. Along with the 2.25 piping on a d16a6. I think SiRed has this set up as well. I love it and a lot cheaper than the rice exhaust

Yes Its what I run as well......I like it.....Nice mellow sound...even WOT is quiet...I can here my engine more than the exhaust.....

I did do a custom tip though....

my buddy just got a custom 2.5 in. cat back, with a maglaflow muffler, and its really nice, sounds like stock, but little bit deeper when givin it gas... no rasp at all, its perfect, im probably gonna do the same but go with 2.25....

 

if u dont want it hell ill take the magnaflow exhaust
