Finally got the motor all together and installed, no leaks, runs good, needs a tune and break in. My question is that it the valvetrain/injectors sound noisy to me (valves are adjusted to spec), but maybe it's just the fact that I've never heard a motor built like this before .. here are the vids and below them are my setup:

Thoughts?

 

its the cams...some have found replacing the LMA with new units helps w/the noise, but when i did mine i didnt notice any difference in sound...my valvetrain is still freakin loud...id be really interested to hear what else can be done

Vavletrains on these can make a bit of noise, I know mine does as it's ending its life slowly lol.

When I get around to i'll try the LMA swapping with the rest of it.

Honestly, I wouldn't worry.

 

ive already tried ITR LMA and am currently running the prelude ones with no luck in reducing valvetrain noise...its probably since the head is 15 years old already

 

I have brand new ITR LMA's too, pretty sure it's just the valvetrain/cam setup making the noise then, thanks for the info guys! Time to go break it in! hehe.
