Just bought a bike : )
Whats up guys, I am realtivly new to this forum. Just wanted to ask a few questions. I just bought a 2007 gsxr-600 , all black, on saterday. It is fricken amazing so far. i only have about 80 miles on it. I Ended up paying 7900 for the bike, and then 1000 dollars for assembaly and freight... dose this sound like a fair deal? it was brand new, 0 miles. I also ended up purchasing the low-jack system that was offered to me, for 700 dollars. What are your guys's thoughts on low-jack? and one more question, do you guys recomend breaking in the bike to suzki's recomendations? or somthing different. THanks for any help

Opinions on break-in procedures vary. Moto man (google it) says to beat the snot out of them and change the oil very early.
Price sounds fair to me. Been about 2 years since I bought a new sportbike, I;m sure they are more expensive now.

Thanks for the input guys. I just thought of another question i have. When i ride with my gf on the back, my wrists get really sore, because when i stop it feels like a lot of pressure goes on them. She is only 110 lbs, but it is wearing me out
Is there anything i can do to correct this? I think the problem is she is higher up on the bike, and when i stop she shifts forward... but im not positive.

That's exactly what's happening. Passengers don't have much to brace themselves against on sportbikes.
