I'm in the market for buy a new mig any suggestions its just for body work, so not much thickness to deal with.
I noticed in your sig you have the HTP invertig 201. I personally have the Invertig 200 and have used it for the last 4 years. Great machine and in retrospect so are their mig welders. I have the mig 2400 and the build is as you would expect from HTP; that being the same as your tig machine which is a quality piece. I'v yet the need to weld anything more then 3/8" plate and it still has room to go as far as power. Sheet metal is no problem. The smaller machines I have no experience with.

I just need it for body panels only.. quarter panel roof... etc.
I was thinking maybe this is all I need?
The mig 140 http://www.htpweld.com/product....html $749.00
There also a 120 amp model going for $459.

Id go with a Miller personally...seems its what all the professional welders use.
Anyways, any little mig will do bodywork. A cheapie $400 setup at home depot will be plenty to weld sheetmetal. Research on welding body panels...lots of tack welds and move around on the panel
