ok guys.. i have a bit of a problem with my car but don't know what is it...i have an 94 civic hatch with an jdm gsr motor in it.. with just h/i/e and a stage 3 clutch and flywheel. but anyways for some reason everytime i push my car, it hits the rev limiter at 7k.. and supposely the gsr motor redlines at 8k. before i thought it was just first gear when i launch it and it just spins too much but even 2nd gear and 3rd gear does it too. Even when i roll out of 1st gear or 2nd gear, it just bounces back at 7k for some reason. Any ideas why it would do that?

 

whats yoru ecu say....i laugh if u have a ls ecu in that car..lol

 

nah nah i'm guessing its the stock jdm gsr ecu that came with the motor.. i ordered it from hmotorsonline... the thing is that sometimes it would hit 8k like at the tracks when its really sticky on the road.. i can rev up to 8k
