Clutch Questions
Need some info on this.... In my car... i am having some clutch problems... it's really hard to explain.. but i would like if someone can help me out....
i hear that if your clutch is high.. it means that your clutch is still quite new.. if it's really low.. then that means it is worn out.... i am having some problems wif my crx.. the clutch point is like half an inch off the top.,... some people i talked to say it's good.. some say that it is really worn.. and i need a new one... may some1 help me...
well how does the clutch feel to you? does it seem like it requires a lot of pedal travel before it engages, or do you notice it slipping at all? if not then i dont think you should worry too much, and even if it is, have you checked your clutch cable? there shold be two black cables (they look like brake cables on a bike) the exit the firewall on the drivers side. one goes towards the intake manifold and the other goes towards the shifter fork at the tranny. follow that cable and you will see that you can adjust the hieght of your cable. take it a few turns to the right and see if that imporves your clutch response and takeup.
thanks d00d i will seriously take that in consideration... it's just that my clutch just feels a little funny... like i can drive it well.. but it's just if i so call "race" when shifting gears fast.. it doesn't really go into the gears right away... i thought it was that i was shifting to fast.. .but i dunno what it really is... but yeah.... once again.. thanks for the info.. i will try to check up on that... and i will get back to you as soon as possible... *^_^*
