i have a 91 crx and i want to put a z6/y8 into it i need to know what all is needed to do this or what problems i will encounter thanks

i cant send pms yet i guess cause im still a noob but what i meant to say in the first post was that i have a z6 block y8 head in my 96 coupe right now and i am wondering what needs to be done as far as wiring is concerned with the setup to put it in the rex if there is a problem with it being a obd1 block and obd2 head then i would understand i need to have a head/block combo that is the same obd thanks again for any help it is greatly appreciated and i know im gonna get flammed for a noob question but it doesnt hurt to ask thanks

your best bet is to convert to OBD1 to run the correct ECU (P28). You'll need the Z6/Y8 engine and make sure you have the OBD1 distributor. You'll need to swap the block mount from your engine onto the Z6/Y8. You can reuse your injectors (if your engine is MPFI). You'll also have to extend the wiring for the fan switch from the back of the block to the thermostat housing.
