so i was wondering...is there anything i can do to hide/get rid of all the rock dings on my front bumper/hood? i have quite a few of them and on a black car...they stand out sooo much.

 

3m invisible bra or just get a touchup pen.

 

yeah, i've got the same problem! makes me angry because it definitely shows big time on a black car.

 

touch up the dings, then get the invisable bra on it. 3M makes one, venture shield is one , and theres probably a few others. The 3M is only a 3 or 5 year warrenty, unless you go through the dealership, but the venture shield is lifetime warrenty.

 

i dont like how when you wax the car with that clear bra on.. it wont stand out as much in the front ;/

 

Clear bras on black for the LOSE.

But if you daily drive the car a lot, it may be the only way to prevent it.

most chips arnt from BIG rocks. and it wouldnt be a chip, it would be a damn hole in your hood. My headlights are gauranteed also. ever break they replace em free

 

where do i find the touch up paint? do i order this through honda or go to an auto-paint store?

what do you mean wax with the clear bra on? and how it shows?

 

the clear bra gets treated as though it wernt even there. Wax the car wax the bra, but by the sounds of it the bra doesnt shine like the rest of the paint will.

 

I have had my Si less than a month and I already have one really nice spot on my hood where the paint got chipped off. Will dealerships just do little touch-ups? I am horrible when it comes to anything involving paint. My luck I would end up messing up so bad that I would need to get the whole hood repainted.

 

i touched up my hood.. what i did was use touch up paint and i used my thumb nail to even it out and scratch off the excess witha lil water.. LOL!!! it works!!! cant even tell the rock chip was there.

 

if my car were black i'd get the honda bra but nope its white! can you order touch up paint from honda? or can you go to the dealer to buy some? cuz i need some bad and ive had my car for like a week and a half.

 

I had ZERO rock chips in my hood for three months. Drove to work one morning and one of the guys I work with asked about rock chips in my hood, I freaked I had like 30. No I didn't follow a gravel truck.Honda paint sucks.

 

That's true. Honda makes great cars but they're not good in painting
