Default exhaust question

this is probably a stupid question, but here we go...

i have an integra right now with the spoon sports halfback exhaust and i'm thinking about upgrading to an s2k, would it be possible to get an exhaust shop to fabricate piping so that i could keep the exhaust and use it on the s2000?

then what was the point of posting...

Of course you could do it. Would it be the same as buying the spoon exhaust made for the car? No. But it can easily be done.

Its just up to you and how cheap ya wanna be.

You can get an exhaust shop to weld the muffler onto custom bent piping for your s2000. But you probably wont be able to keep it intact as an axle-back because I doubt the bends are the same.

I don't think itll be an issue, cut the muffler off with plenty of pipe left (better more than less). Tell them what size piping you want from the cat-back (unless you can get someone to make a header back :D ). Pick your piping material. Pay and be done.

Excuse me I missed the part about you NOT owning an S2k. But i'll leave my unedited post below for all current owners to read.

How can someone own an s2k and treat it like a civic? Serious it can be done, but why ruin a nice exhaust. Just sell your old spoon and by used S2k spoon one. They can be found for cheap. cheap as in sub $600. I've even seen one sell for 400 something.
It makes me sad to see all these cheap S2k owners and all their damn short cuts. If you can't pay for decent mods, or insurance, etc. Then you can't afford to own an S2k. sorry I'm just sick of all the stuff I read on here about this stuff.

It doesn't matter how cheap a part is. If the item is functional and really works, then who cares.

Why spend thousands more for the same result? Just so you can say you have "J's" or "spoon"?

Not being able to buy the best quaility parts should not exclude an individual from owning a car.

When it really comes down to it though, neither of our opinions matter. It's HIS car. So don't be upset.
