how often do you commute on your bike?
and how far? It's about 40 miles each way and well it's pretty boring too. I love to ride but these days it's really a hassle riding in due to restrictions on base. This also isn't forgetting that the bugs out mean I clean the bike every day I ride with pro polish. Anyways... so assuming good weather, 2-3 times max during the week.

I rode my bike everyday it was nice to school, it was about 30 minutes away. It really drained that feeling I got from riding. Like when you first got your drivers license you would be the person to drive everywhere and all the time, it wears off over time.

Everyday, rain or shine. It gets a little old but I just really love to ride. Plus it makes that commute to work a little easier because I am having fun.
everyday! just not in the rain, too much of a risk, so I just keep it locked up...
23mi each way about 15-20 depending on traffic

Pretty much every day. Max commute is about 8-10 miles round trip. Minimum is about 3 miles round trip. Most of the time it doesn't even go above 35mph. W00t. But keep in mind my bike is old. If I had to commute to Waikiki from North Shore, I wouldn't have any issues doing it on a modern bike every day.
last summer i commuted 5 miles each way and it took 45 minutes each way. I did this on an RC51 too, and i still loved it. No lane splitting, just sitting in traffic.
I ride from my house to my friend's house which is 45 minutes of freeway. I also ride from my house to my girlfriend's house which is one hour of freeway. It's all just part of owning a bike.

I commute to school Mon-Thurs about 15min each way. Yea it gets to be a hassle sometimes, but when I drive my car to school it just reminds me...i get really impatient when it gets conjested on surface streets. Esp. when I am stuck like 10 cars behind a light. I always think to myself that I can lane split right up to the front if I had my bike, and not deal with this stop and go BS. Also at school, we have separate bike parking, and it is all next to my classes, if I drove my car I have to go like an hour before to find parking, and it is all the way across campus. cage
bike
with long commutes I got the chatterbox x2 and I hooked up my ipod to it, it really help
